What can I say about this gorgeous product from Juniper Moon?

It is one of the softest yarn blends I have held for a long time! A luscious mix of baby alpaca and nylon, this is a two plied yarn with a subtle halo and a slight heathered effect. Ideal for just about anything that needs drape and softness - but with added nylon for strength and some elasticity, meaning it can be used for socks.

How lovely would this be for cowls, scarves, baby clothes, shawls? Basically anything that lets you feel the softness - I am in love. But then I’m a sucker for a luxurious yarn.

There are 420m per skein, a generous length for 100g, and the yarn is made up of 75% baby alpaca and 25% polyamide (nylon).

Suggested tension is 28-40 sts using needles sized 2-3.25mm and they impressively give a crochet tension of 21 - 32 sts of double crochet using hooks 2.25-3.5mm too. Nice.

Hand washing is recommended.

Oohing and aahing over the loveliness is also recommended.

Please note shade 2038 Aquarium is a dark jade shade, more green than the picture suggests. Its hard to get a decent pic of this glorious colour.
