Cookston Crafts Sock Fingering
Cookston Crafts Sock Fingering
Cookston Crafts is a dyeing studio based in Ellon, Aberdeenshire. Claire hand-dyes a glorious rainbow of colours and multi shades on her gorgeous bases.
I can absolutely assure you that this fingering 3/4 ply bases for socks is like knitting with the softest cotton, though its wool. It’s fine, soft, smooth, silky and a delight to use. Great for socks, ideal for shawls and accessories, soft as butter for baby heirloom garments - all this, and (gently) machine washable too!
Keep checking back as more colours will be added as they come in, Stock is limited as they are dyed in small batches, so make sure you either have enough for a whole project, or mix in new dye lots by striping the old and new dye lots for a few inches.
