A course over 3 sessions to teach you the basics of crochet (UK terminology)

Learn how to make a chain, double crochet, treble and half treble, slip stitch, join and work in the round, and how to follow a pattern and a chart - haven’t had a failure yet!

Class materials include: hook that suits you, choice of yarn, stitch marker, reference instructions and we keep classes small to ensure you get all the attention you need.

We don’t start the class with a project in mind; the aim of the course is to get you absolutely confident in the basic stitches so that when you tackle the pattern in week three, you can get to work right away on the instructions because you have become accustomed to working the stitches without too much thought.

And once you master the basics, you can do anything!

Please note: there will be homework…

Course starts Sunday 2nd June, from 12.30-2.30pm and for the two following Sundays at the same time.
